These 5 days safari is an experimental safari, start your safari with a highlight of seeing Rhino, one of the African big five, proceed to Mighty Murchison falls, chances of seeing the lions amongst other wildlife like the elephants, buffalo, viewing the top of the falls and sum it up with trekking the chimpanzee closest ancestors of Humans

Details

You will be picked up by our guide from Entebbe, transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive will take you through Luwero triangle & Budongo forest in the western arm of the Rift Valley where you will also be rewarded with splendid views of the countryside with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. You will arrive in the afternoon, have lunch then enter the territory of the southern white rhinos on foot where well-trained rangers will guide you through the bush to where the white rhinos are. You will get the opportunity to watch these endangered, magnificent creatures in their natural habitat before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park. You will arrive at Murchison Falls National Park in the late afternoon & check in to Park side safari lodge for relaxation, dinner & overnight stay. The lodge is set in a beautiful surrounding and looks out on the majestic Albert Nile that always add to the safari experience of its guests. Accommodation: Parkside Safari lodge
Wake up early in the morning, your safari breakfast will be served before the day breaks so that you can start your morning game drive as the sun comes up. Sunrise is the best time for wildlife spotting as animals tend to be the most active during the “golden hours”, when the first rays of sunshine come to rest on the savannah. Elephants, buffalo and several species of antelope are some of the characters you may come across today, & if you’re lucky, you may even spot a lion or leopard. You will return for lunch in the afternoon & go afternoon boat safari upstream on the Victoria Nile to the falls where you will pass by breathtaking scenery, as well as many crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, monkeys & other animals that come down to the Nile. Wake up in the morning, have breakfast, you will enjoy your last sunrise & breakfast in this beautiful National Park in Uganda with a walk to top of Murchison Falls for about 30 minutes to 1 hour & transfer to Kibale National Park with stopover for lunch, beautiful scenery, landscape viewing among others before reaching the Park. You will arrive in the evening & check in to Rweteera safari park for relaxation, dinner & overnight stay. Your stay in Rweteera safari Park for the next two nights will offer you a unique jungle experience. You will get absorbed by forest smells and sounds, spot primates swinging through the trees and observe rare birds and beautiful butterflies fluttering around. The elegant tented camp is located in a patch of evergreen forest which borders the Magombe swamp and is a mere 10 min drive to where your chimp tracking will stay Accommodation: Rweteera Safari Park
Wake up early and have breakfast before moving to Kibale National Park for Chimpanzees Tracking experience where you will have the opportunity to follow an experienced guide into the forest to observe these fascinating creatures at a close range. Watching them interact with each other and go about their daily routine of grooming, playing and foraging is an incredible experience. While your chances of encountering chimpanzees are high during your tracking excursion, In the afternoon after your lunch, you can choose whether you would like to hike to the “top of the world” or go deeper into the forest on a Swamp Walk in the Bigodi Wetland; home to 8 primate species, over 200 bird species, butterflies and various reptiles before returning to the Lodge/Camp for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.   Accommodation: Rweteera Safari Park
You will enjoy your last sunrise and breakfast in this beautiful corner of Uganda before your guide drives you across the beautiful sceneries back to Entebbe and drop you off at Entebbe International Airport. For extra night in Entebbe, we can help arrange for you at an additional cost.
